Preparing Elementary Students For Higher Education

Looking to ramp up your district’s approach to preparing elementary students for higher education? Look no further than the border to Gadsden Elementary District.

Under the direction of Superintendent Dr. Raymond Aguilera, Gadsden has developed a comprehensive approach to learning, featuring quality arts programs and academics. “The goal is to have the majority of kids have fulfilled their initial college pre-requisites or 2-year AA degrees,” said Dr. Raymond Aguilera.

Highlights include serving as a John Hopkins Center for Gifted and Talented. The center provides ACT testing, SCAT testing for grades 2-6, college/university college summer programs, online summer courses and tutoring.
